OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2011. Belarus’ internal debt increased 8.2% on the month in November to 9.268 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of January 1, 2011, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry stated on Monday.

Belarus’ internal debt rose 6.9% in 2010 in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 1.381 trillion rubles in January-December 2010, or 0.8% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 22.3%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 77.7%.
