Companhia Siderurgica Nacional hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, in accordance with the Australian legislation, has notified the Australian Stock Exchange the increase of its interest in the capital stock of Riversdale Mining Limited (“Riversdale”), with the acquisition of 5,490,428 new shares at the total price of AUSD 88,036,424.56. The Company now indirectly holds 19.9% of Riversdale’s capital stock.
