OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2011. Transaero Airlines passengers of certain flights flying from Moscow Domodedovo Airport are now able to check in using mobile handsets. The service can be accessed via m.transaero.ru.

The new service is a part of Transaero’s high tech flight booking service platform, and is compatible with a wide range of different mobile devices and operating systems, including Internet Explorer Mobile (Windows mobile), Mobile Safari (iPhone), Android (HTC, Asus, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and other communicators), Symbian (Nokia), standard Samsung, LG and other popular mobile devices supporting CSS1.

The new mobile check-in service currently supports check-in for one passenger at a time. To check in, passenger simply enters his or her flight booking number, first and last name. Transaero plans to upgrade the system soon to provide passengers with easy to read SMS boarding passes sent directly to mobile devices.

Transaero is constantly working hard to improve its services in the air and on the ground with the state-of-the-art technology including popular with the passengers Self-Services.
