OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2011. Volga-Dnepr Group has signed a global co-operation agreement with Kaspersky Lab for centralised protection of its IT workstations and file servers.

Kaspersky Lab’s partner, Sotfline, supports the delivery of 1,500 licenses for the Kaspersky Business Space Security solution, which is currently being implemented across Volga-Dnepr Group’s businesses.

“Within the framework of the centralisation project for the IT infrastructure of Volga-Dnepr Group, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of various products in the market and chose the solution offered by Kaspersky Lab,” said the Group’s IT Director, Yuri Kolesnikov. “In addition to reliable protection of our computing resources, this solution, as wells as our cooperation terms, will allow us to manage our product licenses in a flexible way in line with the requirements of the Group’s business in those countries where Volga-Dnepr currently operates or plans to start operating.”

Kaspersky Business Space Security is an optimal protection for information resources of a company from present-day threats originating from the Internet. This solution was developed in view of tightened requirements for servers working in high load conditions. The product protects workstations, smartphones and file servers from all types of viruses, Trojans and worms. It prevents virus outbreaks and ensures protection of data and instant access of users to network resources.
