OREANDA-NEWS. February 14, 2011.  48 transactions were concluded at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totalled over USD 99.723 million. Businessmen from Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Afghanistan and the Virgin Islands bought aviation kerosene, gasoline, liquefied gas, unbalanced polypropylene and base oil produced at the Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Diesel fuel produced at Seydi oil refinery was the choice of buyers from Denmark. Businessmen from Afghanistan bought liquefied gas from the Nayip terminal, and Chinese businessmen bought technical iodine (Turkmenhimiya State Concern). Also, the transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for textile products, cotton meal, cotton yarn, ginned cotton, cotton flake, cattle skin. The buyer countries: Russia, the United States, Turkey, UAE, Iran, Afghanistan, Singapore.

The transactions concluded in deposit totalled over 5.835 million manats. Businessmen from the United States, the United Kingdom, Turkey, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan bought textile products, cotton meal, greige cotton yarn, cattle skin, raw fatty acids.
