OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2011. The aggregate capital of credit unions - members and partners of the Uzbekistan Association of Credit Unions (ACU) - rose by 63.3% year-on-year on results of 2010 and comprised over 40.3 billion soums as of 31 December 2010.

It should be noted that the aggregate capital of Uzbek credit unions is formed primarily due to charter fund and institutional capital.

In particular, the share of institutional capital - consisting of reserve fund, undistributed profit and net income - reached 69.7% in the total structure of ACU member and partners' capital, while the share of charter fund - formed due to membership fees - exceeded 29.8%. The interim capital - received mainly at the expense of surplus of fixed assets value cost over original cost - made up 0.4%.
