OREANDA-NEWS. February 18, 2011. The changes were made as Kazkommertsbank (hereinafter - the bank) provided to KASE the extract from its shareholders registers system as of February 7, 2011. According to the extract the number of free floating common shares (NIN - KZ1C00400016, ticker - KKGB) of the bank has changed from 57,354,465 units to 56,354,465 units. The mentioned shares number changed as the bank shareholders - Central Asian Investment Company (CAIC) 23.72 % from the total number of offered common shares of the bank and Ak Zhalyn JSC 0.11 % from the total number of offered common shares of the bank, the sole shareholder of which is CAIC, implemented the reorganization through CAIC takeover of Ak Zhalyn JSC. As a result the bank stake of free floating shares decreased from 7.37 % to 7.25 %, reported the press-centre of KASE.

These changes entailed the need in adjustment of coefficients that restrict influence of price parameters of all shares, included to the KASE index representative list, on the KASE Index value.

In addition, by the mentioned Risk Committee decision from February 16, 2011, when the KASE index calculating shall be used the new adjustment coefficient (K) value- 2.5991568. Till the mentioned date K equaled 2.7486858.
