According to consolidated preliminary data, in 2010 Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) of BAIP group increased by 55 per cent and reached 2,34 mln Litas (2009 – 1,29 mln Litas). The company group includes BAIP, a company specialising in critical IT infrastructure field, a specialised “Microsoft“ licencing solutions company “Acena“ and a specialised workstation maintenance and design company “Informatikos pasaulis“. 

According to the group manager Kazimieras Tonkыnas, the most significant impact on the growth of profit was made by BAIP competence and specialization in maintenance of critical IT infrastructure, restructuring of system architecture and consultancy in projects as well as a specialised BAIP CIMF methodology.

“This growth indicates that our strategic solution to deliver complex services which require high level of competence and which are intended for creation, restructuring and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure was successful. Our purpose is to keep increasing our competence, create effective methodologies and solutions and to deliver services in Lithuania and abroad“ – said K. Tonkunas.

Last year BAIP was awarded the best IBM storage reseller in Lithuania for two years successively. The company has been cooperating with IBM since the establishment of BAIP. Currently the company is developing and implementing projects in Lithuania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Liberia, is supporting clients in Latvia and Estonia.

BAIP delivers services for over 150 state institutions and large private sector enterprises which include “Danske“ bank, telecommunications company “Omnitel“, biotechnology company “Fermentas“, “Lietuvos draudimas“, “MAXIMA GRUPЛ“, bank “Snoras“, “Lifosa“, “Western Union“ etc.

K. Tonkыnas stressed that last year “Informatikos pasaulis”, a member of BAIP group, was successfully restructured for being able to deliver services of design and maintenance of specialized workstations in industry sector, and “Acena“ maintained its specialisation in ”Microsoft“ licencing solution field.
