OREANDA-NEWS. February 24, 2011. Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies – Heineken Breweries, in the Mogilev Region, and Rechitsapivo, in the Gomel Region – registered a 42.7% increase in output in January 2011 from previous January to 685,000 decaliters, Belarus’ food concern Belgospischeprom said in a statement.

Heineken Breweries’ output rose 54% on the year to 666,700 decaliters, while Rechitsapivo’s output decreased 61.1% to 18,300 decaliters.

Heineken Breweries made 525,500 decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January, up 49.3%, and 132,200 decaliters in glass bottles, up 63.3%. Beer output in kegs reached 9,000 decaliters.

The two breweries delivered 611,200 decaliters of beer to the retail network in January 2011, up 50.4% on the year.

Exports by Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies hiked 200% on the year in January 2011 to 20,800 decaliters, 20,400 decaliters by Heineken Breweries, up 5.3 times, and 400 decaliters by Rechitsapivo, down 7.8 times.
