OREANDA-NEWS. TNK-BP informs that the TNK-BP Board of Directors meeting scheduled for February 25th did not take place due to lack of a quorum, as the directors appointed by BP were absent, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

All four directors representing AAR were in attendance, as well as all independent directors, including former Chancellor of Germany Gerhard Schroeder and president of the Union of Russian Industrialists Aleksandr Shokhin.

The agenda for this Board meeting, the date of which was agreed on February 16th, included discussion of TNK-BP management’s recommendation to participate in the deal between BP and Rosneft.

The next Board of Directors meeting, at which the same items are to be discussed, is planned for March 4th in Berlin, Germany.
