OREANDA-NEWS. March 01, 2011. The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Viktor Ratushniak met with delegation of Netherlands company "Custodia BV", headed by its CEO Peter Christian van Oranje.

The meeting was devoted to the introduction of high technology in law enforcement while ensuring public order during finals of EURO 2012.

The Ukrainian side in the meeting was attended by the heads of the structural units of law enforcement agencies directly engaged in ensuring public order during the soccer event.

According to Victor Ratushniak, Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine pays great attention to information technology and innovation component in militia. To respond to all of today's processes, law enforcement should definitely be equipped with modern facilities, and most importantly - to be able to use it.

Today's technical advances allow being more effective in securing public order. It is very important in view of the forthcoming EURO 2012.

MIA of Ukraine is studying the experience of many European countries in this regard, in particular - the experience of Germany and Poland. It should be noted that Dutch colleagues also have considerable experience in technical support of law enforcement during public events. In this regard, the MIA of Ukraine is interested in cooperation with all who have experience in such work and have the appropriate technology.

Mr. Peter Christian van Oranje said that the company he represents, despite the fact that it was founded 2006, already has assets of more serious projects. One of them is the technical solution for airport safety. Company "Custodia BV" offers for use in the work of Ukrainian law enforcement innovation intelligent city management concept, the integration decision "Home City", which provides centralized control and management system of safety stadium, airport and the city simultaneously, and the concept of rapid response in case of emergency situations in particular during the events.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Viktor Ratushnyak expressed hope that the Netherlands experts will offer technical solutions for the safe conduct of mass actions not only on stadiums but also in adjacent areas. In this regard, consultations should involve representatives of the National Agency for the preparation and holding in Ukraine of finals of the European Cup in 2012 and those responsible for implementation of infrastructure projects.

"Once again I want to confirm - it's interesting to us - said Viktor Ivanovich during the meeting. - We are ready to consider all proposals of Netherlands security specialists and to choose the best concept of logistics for public order during mass events for organizations that work in this area, during consultation with our experts."
