OREANDA-NEWS. February 28 2011. Belarusians’ real incomes [adjusted for inflation] rose 15.2% in January-December 2010, the National Statistics Committee said.

Individual incomes rose 24.2% on the year in 2010, while consumer prices increased 7.8%. As a result, incomes rose 15.2% in real terms.

Incomes per capita amounted to 953,100 rubles per month in January-December.

Compensations accounted for 56.1% of total incomes in 2010, down from 56.4% in January-December 2009.

Social transfers – pensions, allowances and study grants – accounted for 19.8%, up from 18.7% in 2009, and other incomes [from sales of farm produce and entrepreneurial activities, etc.] for 21.6%, down from 22.3%, and incomes from property – yield on deposit and dividends – for 2.5%, down from 2.6%.

Some 79.1% of all incomes were spent on payments for commodities and services.
