OREANDA-NEWS. March 2, 2011. Interpipe has announced the start of regular programme to recruit specialists in production optimization for its Continuous Improvement System (CIS).

CIS Interpipe is a unique system of reducing production loses and increasing workshops capacity by constantly implementing improvements. Interpipe’s CIS project incorporates authoring developments of Interpipe experts and world known practices such as 6Sigma, kaizen process, SMED, 5S, Poka-Yoka, the standardization of operational procedures etc.

The programme to implement the CIS system at Interpipe began in 2008. At the moment the project involves more than 2200 people in two workshops at two Company mills. About 400 people, including directors, shift foremen and workers, are active participants of the continuous improvement system. Interpipe plans to develop the project at all Company workshops by hiring talented candidates.

Oksana Marina, Director for Human Resources at Interpipe said: ‘The selection of candidates for participation in this project will be conducted in several stages. The first stage will involve gathering and analyzing the returned forms. The second stage will involve professional and psychological testing, specially developed by Interpipe. At the third stage there will be group practice and individual interviews. The final stage is a probation period under the direction of our experts. Undoubtedly, the candidate that passes all stages will be able to receive unique insight into the implementation of Interpipe CIS and become an in-demand specialist in all business spheres.’
