OREANDA-NEWS. March 2, 2011. OMZ- Foundry Production, a part of OMZ Group, is to manufacture in 2011 22 cast-solid props for river-sea ice class bulk carriers ordered by JSC  TsS Zvezdochka.

In April-May this year the company will also manufacture castings for thrusters, intended for LLC  Gazflot vessels and ordered by JSC  TsS Zvezdochka.

The two contracts are valued at over 50 million Rubles.

The props are manufactured from superalloyed corrosion-resistant steels 08H14NDL, 08H15N4DML, 06H15N4DML that require special attention and responsibility from the manufacturer. Russian Naval Registry, one of the leading international classification societies, performs technological inspection on all production stages and takes part in the acceptance process.

Cooperation between JSC  TsS Zvezdochka and OMZ-Foundry Production has started 12 years ago. Since then OMZ-Foundry Production manufactured and shipped cast-solid and assembled props made from corrosion-resistant durable steels and other castings for ship equipment. The customer did not have any complaints regarding the product quality and delivery schedule in that time.
