OREANDA-NEWS. March 03, 2011. In Vladimir a traditional regional research-to-practice conference on the topic “Prospects of Post-Crisis Economy Development” was held, reported the press-centre of FBK.

The event was arranged by administration of Vladimir region jointly with the Club of Business and Political Advisers “Cardinal”.FBK was represented at the event byIgor Nikolaev, Partner, Director of Strategic Analysis Department.

Within a plenary session Igor Nikolaev delivered a report on the topic “Economy in the Post-Crisis Period: Basic Showings and Growth Points”. According to the expert, the recovery GDP growth by 4% in 2010 was considerably conditioned by the deferred demand effect.

“By now this factor has almost exhausted itself, while no efficient measures for supporting the demand by the state have been suggested, this is why, most likely, GDP growth in 2011 will be equal to zero”, Nikolaev noted. He also emphasized that economic growth quite obviously will not be prompted by overstated social liabilities, undertaken by authorities, neither by high inflation.
