OREANDA-NEWS. March 5, 2011. Ekaterina Erofteeva has been named head of strategy and efficiency management of Rostelecom’s business.

Her scope of powers includes issues related to working out and supervising the implementation of the company’s strategy, oversight of strategic projects, issues pertaining to the integration of RTOs and Rostelecom as part of the merger process, and also enhancing business operating efficiency.

Ekaterina Erofteeva graduated in 1997 from the Moscow Telecommunications and Computer Science University with a major in Economics and Management at Telecommunications Enterprises.

From 1997 to 2000, Ms. Erofteeva held various positions first at the RF Federal Service for Regulation of Natural Monopolies in the Telecommunications Industry, and later at the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Anti-Monopoly Policy and Support of Entrepreneurship.

From 2000 until 2011 she worked as an economist at Central Telegraph, after which she received an offer to work at Svyazinvest, where from 2001 until 2011 she moved up the ranks from leading expert in the division of tariff policy and economic relations of operators under the department of economic forecasting and consolidated planning to executive director and head of the department of strategy and business development.
