OREANDA-NEWS. March 15, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC received a compliance certificate for GOST R ISO 9001-2008 quality management system, which attests that Ingosstrakh OJSIC management system meets the requirements of the standard in all areas of insurance services, including reinsurance. It is worth noting that apart from Ingosstrakh a very limited number of federal insurance companies obtain such certificates.

The certification audit was held in the Common Standard voluntary certification system in 2010-2011. Preparation for certification was completed by Ingosstrakh OJSIC employees without engaging third-party consultants. Management and experts of the company successfully completed the following actions:

Analysis of applicable internal Ingosstrakh OJSIC documents for compliance with the compulsory documented procedures provided in GOST R ISO 9001-2008.

Identification of applicable internal normative documents to set up documented procedures provided in GOST R ISO 9001-2008.

Development of documents required for operation of the quality management system in accordance with GOST R ISO 9001-2008 standard.

Updating the business planning system for monitoring of execution/planning related to measures for quality management process improvement.

Currently, the quality management system certificate is one of the most vivid evidences of business maturity and the company’s reliability. ISO 9001:2008 is the world’s most widespread, used and recognized quality management system based on ISO 9001:2008 requirements (GOTST R ISO 9001-2008 in Russia).

“Obtainment of the certificate was an additional incentive for us for further standardization of requirements and quality management approaches, and for creating better conditions for management system process control", said Ilya Solomatin, vice-president of Ingosstrakh OJSIC. "Besides it will create a basis for continuous improvement of all company’s lines of business and further enhancement of service quality”.
