OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2011. Industrial parks may become the catalyst of the transition to the new economic paradigm based on export, - Valerii Lazar. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy said it during the work meeting at the Ministry, during which 9 technical and economic justifications on the reasonability of establishment of the industrial parks in different regions of the country were presented.

The technical and economic justifications concerned establishment of the industrial parks in Edinet, Hincesti, Cantemir, Cainari. It is also planned to create industrial parks on the basis of the Raut, Uzina de masini de salubritate din Falesti, CANN, Tracom enterprises, as well as in the framework of the third sub-zone in the Free Economic Zone “Balti”. Valerii Lazar said the industrial parks are good instruments to enhance attractiveness of industry, to increase its share in the GDP, to contribute to the country’s re-industrialization.

He stressed that the new law on industrial park had been passed last year. It contains a new conception which created preconditions for attracting private capital into the process of establishment of industrial parks and active promotion of the public-private partnership. Industrial parks will also enable to increase the inflow of foreign investments and will contribute to modernization of the regions’ infrastructure.

Valerii Lazar said the developed technical-economic justifications had shown that there are sufficient reserves of the assets which may be used for launching new enterprises, and some of them can even create new sudindustries.
