OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2011. In Astana within the framework of the VI International Conference "HR Management: Innovations in HR” the results of the First Kazakhstan Contest “Senim-2010” were summarized and the best employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 7 categories were determined.

JSC NC “KazMuanyGas” was declared the winner in the category “Best Management Company-Employer”.

The Contest “Senim-2010” was started in November 2010 with the official support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Economic Chamber “Atameken Union”.

Companies with headcount no less than 50 employees participated in the Contest.

A sociological study “Dynamics of change in living standards, job satisfaction and social feeling of the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (3,000 respondents were questioned) was conducted to determine the best company-employer in 14 regions of Kazakhstan in Almaty and Astana.

The questionnaires of the companies-nominees (employer questionnaire) and inquiry of employees’ loyalty (loyalty questionnaire) were accumulated and analyzed. Whereupon, in companies with the headcount less than 250, 20% of employees were inquired, more than 250 - 15% employees.

Moreover, when summarizing the results, the expert jury’s estimates of a company policy in HR Management (employer questionnaire) and the best HR Project, implemented by a company, were considered.

The expert jury, consisting of the recognized HR experts in Kazakhstan, admitted the high level of development of the HR management in JSC NC “KazMunayGas”, including elaborated and successfully implemented policies in the company related to recruitment, evaluation and staff development, as well as building corporate culture.

The winners of the Contest “Senim-2010” received diplomas and silver statuettes, made by Seric Rysbekov, talented Kazakhstan craftsman.

To evaluate competitive ability of Kazakhstan companies and to implement innovative methods in dealing with staff members, the participants of the international conference supported the initiative of holding the “Senim” Contest on the annual basis.
