According to Investfunds rankings (Cbonds group) for February 2011, Raiffeisen Aval Asset Management occupies the first position at the mutual funds market in terms of money inflow from investors. For the period under review, the volume of the assets under management of the Company has increased by UAH 3.5 mln.

As of 1 March, 2011, the Company had UAH 70 mln assets under its management, including assets of 9 investment funds (3 open-ended mutual funds and 6 funds in the framework of the “Individual Investment Solutions” product) and insurance company reserves.

“February, especially the end of the month, was marked with the beginning of a correction process at the stock market. Especially effective investments in this period were those for investors with a long-term investment horizon”, comments Vadym Mosiychuk, CEO of Raiffeisen Aval Asset Management. “Clients of open-ended funds, who have equities in their portfolios (Raiffeisen Balanced and Raiffeisen Equity), took a chance to buy assets at lower prices. Conservative investors, oriented at short-term investments and a stable income, chose the Raiffeisen Money Market fund as an alternative to bank deposits”, he added.

The distribution of investment certificates of Raiffeisen Aval Asset Management funds is provided on a daily basis at the Raiffeisen Aval Asset Management’s office and in branches of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.
