OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2011. AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd.(“The Company,” Representative Director and CEO: Setsuo Wakuda), offered its sincere condolences to all those affected by the devastating Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake on March 11, and wish for the recovery of those suffered and injured.

The Company announced to make a donation for relief aid and reconstruction to the people and communities affected by the recent earthquake in northeastern Japan.

1. Monetary donations
1) Amount of donations provided: JPY 100,000,000
2) Donation fund: Japan Red Cross Society

2. Fund-raising activities
1) Beginning date: March 14, 2011
2) Implementing locations: All AUTOBACS Group stores* in Japan except stores in the regions affected by the earthquake
3) Name of the fund: Tohoku Pacific Offshore Earthquake Relief Donation

*include AUTOBACS, Super AUTOBACS, AUTO HELLOES, AUTOBACS Hashiriya Tengoku Secohan Ichiba, and AUTOBACS EXPRESS stores (approx. 500 stores)

3. Donation of relief items
1) Beginning date: March 14, 2011
2) Major relief items: approx. 39 thousand mobile phone car chargers and five thousand car inverters.
3) Supplement method: The Company will send these relief items by making close contact with the regional headquarters of disaster control.

4. Electricity saving and other efforts
1) Beginning date: March 14, 2011
2) Electricity saving efforts and other efforts:
i. Reduce electricity consumption at every store level by turning off the lights of store signs and others at its Group stores
ii. Suspend all sales campaign scheduled in March
