OREANDA-NEWS. March 18, 2011. Today, a delegation from Tatneft, one of KAMAZ’s largest corporate clients, has arrived at KAMAZ with a working visit.

During the visit, a technical conference will be held in the course of which KAMAZ experts will share with the guests their vision of problems of industrial development and participation of the leader of the Russian automotive industry in their solving. In his report, Danis Valeev, Chief Designer of OJSC KAMAZ – Director of the Research and Development Center, will tell about the model range of OJSC KAMAZ, developments improving quality and extending a useful life of KAMAZ trucks. Oleg Yershov, Director General of KAMAZ FINANCE AND TRADING COMPANY, will present a product portfolio of the auto giant for corporate clients, deal with questions of service and warranty support of KAMAZ vehicles. The participants of the conference will be offered KAMAZ solutions enabling to renew the vehicle fleet with the help of various schemes. The presentation of Leasing Company KAMAZ will be made by its CEO Alfia Kogogina. Undoubtedly, the presentation of production of Mercedes-Benz Trucks Vostok, a joint venture of KAMAZ and its strategic partner Daimler, will arouse the participants’ interest.

The delegation members will visit the Research and Development Center of KAMAZ where they will see an exhibition of vehicles. The guests will be shown the mother assembly line at the automobile plant of OJSC KAMAZ. They will visit Cummins Kama Joint Venture located on the territory of KAMAZ-Diesel Inc. The guests will also visit KAMAZ’s auto center in Naberezhnye Chelny. Later, they will sum up the results of the event at a round table conference in an office of KAMAZ’s general directorate.

Tatneft is one of the largest domestic oil companies. One of KAMAZ’s corporate clients, Tatneft and OJSC KAMAZ jointly develop vehicles for oil and gas industries. OJSC KAMAZ offers oil and gas industry workers a wide variety of all-purpose and special vehicles satisfying consumers’ demand. Since 2001, more than one hundred new models of special KAMAZ vehicles have been produced for oil and gas industries. "Oil" superstructures for installation on KAMAZ chassis are produced by more than 50 factories in Russia.
