OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2011. KAMAZ participates in the largest event of the automobile industry in Azerbaijan – at the AUTOSHOW 2011 exhibition which is held in Baku from the 16th to the 19th of March.

Thanks to a combination of the European quality and the Russian costs, today’s KAMAZ vehicles which become more and more popular among consumers can compete not only with domestic, but also with foreign products.

The visitors of the exhibition can see a KAMAZ-6520 (6x4) dump truck with a restyled cab and a KAMAZ-740.63-400 V8 turbocharged diesel engine with 400 hp, compliant with Euro-3 environmental standards. A ZF-16S1820 gearbox, BOSCH fuel injection equipment, and a MFZ 430 clutch ensure smooth operation, a long overhaul period, and comfortable conditions for drivers; and the platform of 20 cubic meters enables to transport a great amount of bulk cargo. With its high cross-country ability, the vehicle can surmount slopes at 25 degrees and make up to 90 km/h at full load which is perfect for the use in the construction and mining industries.

KAMAZ takes into account each customer’s opportunities and wishes. The visitors of the exhibition can see a "cheaper version" of a special-purpose vehicle, with a lower cost, but the same consumer qualities – a KS-55713-1 crane on a KAMAZ-55111 (6x4) chassis. This model is based on a vehicle which is popular both in Russia and other CIS and far abroad countries, equipped with a KAMAZ-740.31-240 engine with a maximum net capacity of 165 kW (225 hp) complying with the Euro 2 environmental standards.

The market of the Azerbaijan Republic is promising for KAMAZ trucks and special vehicles which proved to be excellent in the construction and mining industries.
