OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2011. It was said by the Summa group of companies’ President Mete Bora at the meeting in Chisinau with Prime Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat. Mete Bora said the project would be implemented in two stages.

On the first one, 25 megawatt of energy are planned to be generated on wind facilities, and on the second one – 50 megawatt. The project’s cost hasn’t been called yet. Its implementation will start by the end of April this year after the necessary licenses have been received and the first results will be available in seven months. According to the businessman, this project will contribute to diversification of Moldova’s energy sources.

It will also be the first independent energy production source. In addition to that, new workplaces will be created. Vladimir Filat said the Moldovan government supports realization of this project and would provide all necessary assistance to its implementation. Vladimir Filat is convinced that more investments will be coming to this area and supported expansion of the wind energy generation project.
