OREANDA-NEWS. March 24, 2011. ALIDI, leading Russian provider of logistic and distribution services, begins to provide logistic services in the Moscow region at M.Video Central Distribution Center in Russia.

On the 19 of January 2010 ALIDI made its first deliveries from the DC. According to the contract the volume of stored goods is 30 000 – 50 000 m3., the daily traffic is 3000 – 5000 m3. The Central Distribution Center in Moscow serves 220 M.Video warehouses and stores in 90 Russian cities.

ALIDI will provide for M.Video the following range of logistic services: storage, picking, stickering, inventory management, handling of damaged goods, delivery and freight services covering Moscow and the Moscow region.

In December 2010 M.Video decided to change the provider of logistic services in Moscow and selected ALIDI. Afterwards ALIDI had to make in short times all necessary arrangements to get the warehouse and the staff ready to work. In Moscow ALIDI operates a modern warehouse of 43 046 sq.m., situated in Chekhov town, 49 km. away from Moscow Ring Road.

Since 2009 ALIDI has being providing logistic services for M.Video, running its Federal Distribution Center in Nizhny Novgorod, that supplies M.Video goods to the East f the European part of Russia, the Urals and the Siberia. ALIDI also provide to M.Video logistic services in St. Petersburg, Vologda, Ryazan and Cherepovets.
