The company announced relief support activities including donations to contribute to relief for those affected by the earthquake and recovery of the stricken area as follows.

We sincerely hope that recovery of the stricken area will proceed quickly.

1. Monetary Donation
ЎЎJPY 300 million (donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society)

2. Relief Supplies Donated
ЎЎThe Group's beverage products: approximately 480,000 bottles
ЎЎЎЎ-  Mineral water "Daichiga Migaita Kireina Mizu 520ml PET" ЁC 240,000 bottles
ЎЎЎЎ-  Green tea "Tsujiri 275g canned bottle" ЁC 240,000 bottles

ЎЎThe Group's processed food products: approximately 50,000 servings
ЎЎЎЎ-  TableMark's "'Home Run' - Ken"(cup-type instant noodles) ЁC 50,000 cups

ЎЎOther daily necessities: Equivalent to JPY 50 million
ЎЎЎЎ-  Winter clothes, household medicines, disposable body warmers and others

3. Relief Activities Undertaken
ЎЎTableMark Co. Ltd. provided hot meals at evacuation centers and donated food in the stricken area (total of 40,000 servings) on March 18 and 19.
ЎЎЎЎ-  Provided hot meals using frozen udon noodles in temporary evacuation centers and donated frozen udon noodles and cup-type instant noodles in Sendai.

ЎЎAmount equivalent to employees' donations is matched by the company
ЎЎЎЎ-  A total of JPY 38.83 million has been donated by 5,374 employees (JPY 77.65 million after the company's matching donation).
ЎЎЎЎ-  The money will be donated to the Central Community Chest of Japan.

ЎЎDonations are being made by the JT Group employees in and outside Japan, including Japan Tobacco International.
Saving Electricity

ЎЎLights are being turned off in tobacco vending machines owned by the company and in beverage vending machines owned by Japan Beverage Inc., our group company.

ЎЎTurning lights off is being promoted throughout the Group's offices.
