OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2011. Belarus’ OJSC Krinitsa, the largest brewery of the country, produced 1.361 million decaliters of beer in January-February 2011, down 21% on the year, a representative in food concern Belgospischeprom stated.

The Minsk-based facility decreased beer production 22.4% to 1.314 million decaliters.

Beer output in plastic bottles went down 21.5% on the year to 1.094 million decaliters.

Krinitsa beer output in glass bottles fell 46.8% to 109,600 decaliters, in kegs went up 63.7% to 139,200 decaliters.

Krinitsa’s sales in January-February amounted to 1.147 decaliters, down 15% on the year.

Exports amounted to 422,600 decaliters, up 150% on the year.

Krinitsa was founded in January 2001. OJSC Polotsk Beer and Nesvizh soft drinks plant have been incorporated by OJSC Krinitsa and operate as subsidiaries.
