OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is investigating actions of the Moscow City authorities with regard to placing detained vehicles at specialised parkings under Article 27.13 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

According to the official information, under the Government Decree “On the Practice of Works and Measures towards Improving the System for Relocation and Keeping Motor Vehicles in Moscow”, detained vehicles shall be towed by the “City Service for Vehicle Relocation” State Institution of Moscow (GU GSPTS) and shall be kept exclusively on the 18 specialized parking spaces.

FAS Russia would like to emphasize that other parkings in Moscow cannot keep detained vehicles in accordance with Article 27.13 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations, as they are not specialized.

Vehicle owners that have information about towing detained vehicles and keeping them at the parkings other than the specialised parkings of GU GSPTS can report to FAS Russia by phone or e-mail.
