OREANDA-NEWS. March 31, 2011. AeroSvit Airlines’ summer flights schedule (introduced for the period of March 27th through October 29th, 2011) envisages 10 new air routes’ launch and substantial increase in the frequency of flights on the existing routes.

In April-June AeroSvit will commence flights from Kiev to destinations in Europe – Karlovy Vary and Stuttgart, in - Novosibirsk and Krasnodar, in – Aktau and Kostanay, and to Damask, the capital of .

AeroSvit plans to launch a point-to-point non-stop flight to Colombo (Sri Lanka) in October. Besides, some more long-haul flights to Southeast Asia are planned to be introduced in autumn. 

Also, for the first time in summer season AeroSvit will offer flights to Copenhagen, London, Krakow, Yerevan, Minsk and Tashkent, launched by the carrier in winter season (from October 31st, 2010  through March 26th, 2011).

On the majority of the existing destinations both from Kiev and ’s regional centers a significant flight frequency increase will take place compared to last year’s summer and will even double and triple on some of the routes. This summer, more frequently will be performed AeroSvit’s flights to Dusseldorf, Stockholm, St. Petersburg, Tbilisi, Almaty, Astana, Dubai, Bangkok, Beijing, New York, Kaliningrad, Tel Aviv, Bucharest, Vilnius, Athens, Sophia, Istanbul, Larnaca  and other cities.

Totally, in summer season 2011 AeroSvit will be operating about 80 international destinations in 33 countries, including 5 transcontinental routes to New York, Toronto, Beijing, Delhi and Bangkok.

Jointly with its partners AeroSvit will continue carriages to ’s largest regional administrative centers, including Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lvov, Odessa, Sevastopol, Simferopol and Kharkov.

long-haul Boeing 767 aircraft, middle-haul Boeing 737, Airbus 321, Airbus 320 and Embraer 195, regional Embraer 145 and Antonov 148 aircraft are operated on AeroSvit’s flights.
