OREANDA-NEWS. April 04, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service is considering a petition about reorganisation of “Reestr” Ltd. (location: build. 2, 3 Zubovskaya Square, Moscow, 11902; main activities: keeping the Register of the owners of registered securities) in the form of acquiring “Tsentralanaya Registratura” OJSC (location: 71/1, Ulyanovykh St., Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan, 450029; main activities: keeping the Register of the owners of registered securities) and “Orel-Reestr” CJSC (location: 37, Surena Shaumyana St., Orel, 302028; main activities: renting non-residential real estate) (further on referred to as the petition) (Registration No.12066 of 5th March 2011), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Having examined the petition, FAS established that the transaction can result in restricting competition on the market of the services of registrars.

Governed by Clause 2 Part 2 Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service extended the period for considering the petition for two month in order to additionally examine the petition and obtain additional information.

Interested persons can submit information to the Federal Antimonopoly Service as to how the transaction in question can affect the state of competition.
