OREANDA-NEWS. April 5, 2011. ARMADA (MICEX, RTS: ARMD) hereby announces that its subsidiary has won in a public tender held by the Information Technology Department of the city of Moscow for the right to develop and implement an automated IT system for a transplantology unit.

Upgrading the Russian healthcare system is a top priority area for state finance. As much as RUB 5.7bn (approx. USD 195m) is expected to be allocated to install information systems in healthcare institutions in the Moscow region within the next two years. On the federal level, the government expects to spend up to RUB 24bn (approx. USD 821m) for this purpose in 2011—2012.
