OREANDA-NEWS. April 5, 2011. In the 18-year history of the KITEL expo brand, this year will be a turning point. The organisers have carried out a rebranding, in order to strengthen the brand and increase the target audience.

“Along with the new positioning, a restyling of the visual attributes of the KITEL 2011 brand has taken place. The new logo - interlocking colored lines in the shape of a circle – is a modern, multi-faceted and effective logo, which clearly represents the sphere and innovation of computer and information technologies,” says Natalya Dmitrieva, Manager of the KITEL exhibition at the Kazakhstani exhibition company Iteca.

As usual, KITEL will run from 25 to 27 May in Almaty. It should be noted, though, that the exhibition has moved to another pavilion. The exhibition will be located in Pavilion 10 of the Atakent Exhibition Centre. Among the exhibitors are companies from Belarus, UK, China, Kazakhstan, Russia and South Korea. The central place at the exhibition will be occupied by Kazakhtelecom. Zerde National ICT Holding will present new products at the exhibition.

In the past, Iteca, the organiser of the events, held various conferences during the exhibition, which focused on banking, satellite technology, digital TV and computer programmes. KITEL 2011 will include a specialised conference on IT technologies. The conference will be held on the second day of the show. The programme will feature papers by several dozen well-known figures in the IT world.

The organiers are confident that the specialised seminars and presentations included in the KITEL business programme will be very useful not only for trade visitors, but also exhibiting companies.

KITEL remains the most stable and prestigious event in the telecommunications and ICT sphere in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

The prestige of the event is due to the official support for the KITEL 2011 exhibition and conference. The event is supported by the Ministry of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Administration, Kazakhtelecom and NWF Samruk-Kazyna. More information is available on the website www.kitel.kz.

We recommend that all industry professionals wishing to visit KITEL 2011 pre-register at http://onsite.iteca.kz/ to speed up entry to the pavilion and enable you to participate for free in the roundtables, seminars and presentations.
