OREANDA-NEWS. April 5, 2011. There are two clear areas in the cleaning industry: professional cleaning and dry cleaning and laundry. While the first is still in a formative stage, in the dry cleaning and laundry industry in Kazakhstan there is a regulatory framework, with government agencies regulating the activities of businesses operating in this market segment. With regard to professional cleaning, the desire to hire cleaners increases with the start of spring. According to experts, in the list of cleaning services, general home cleaning, which includes window cleaning, ranks second in terms of demand. In first place is cleaning of residential and office premises after renovation. Kazakhs also often purchase dry cleaning of upholstery and carpets.

At CleanExpo Central Asia 2011, which will be held in Almaty on 20 to 22 April, visitors will be able to obtain useful information about cleaning, find a suitable suitable cleaning company, and visit the cleaning forum to discuss current cleaning industry issues and talk with people connected to the professional cleaning industry. The exhibition is located in pavilion № 9 of the Atakent Exhibition Centre, with HOREX 2011, an event dedicated to the hospitality industry.

A crucial aspect of the exhibition’s success is the comprehensive business programme, which brings together manufacturers, dealers, distributors, industry associations and the press. This year, the exhibition will include several events within the business programme. One of the events will be the professional competition “Best Ironer 2011”, which will be held for the first time. The competition is held among employees of dry cleaning businesses in Kazakhstan, and its aim is to revive the tradition of professional excellence and identify the qualities needed by employees of dry cleaning and laundry businesses. In addition to the competition, the exhibition will also include master classes, training sessions, and consulting by professionals. There will also be a roundtable on the pricing policy issues of Kazakhstani dry cleaning businesses, and several seminars, such as “The effective use of professional chemicals: comparative characteristics of household and professional chemicals” by KazTehnolodzhiPak, and “Concepts of hygiene in hotels: cleaning of premises, kitchen hygiene and laundry” by OST Farm.

To date, the following domestic companies have confirmed their participation in the exhibition: MIELE, OST-FARM, AZIA VYAZMA, YOUNGSAN KAZAKHSTAN, KAZTEN, EUROCHIM and others. The exhibition will also feature the foreign companies: BAGI Professional (Israel), Vyazemski Mashinostroitelnyi zavod (Russia), and SILK Route Beauty Products (UAE).

New products at CleanExpo Central Asia 2011:

Miele will present the G 7857 TD professional dishwasher, which meets the highest hygiene requirements. Along with the regular washing programme it has two thermal disinfection programmes (for hepatitis and AIDS). It has a capacity of up to 300 plates and 960 items of cutlery in the lower basket and 440 tea ware items in the top basket per hour. The shortest run time is 6 minutes.

AZIA VYAZMA will offer low-cost import-substituting equipment of the Vega series from the Vyazma Machine-Building Plant, which includes washing, drying and ironing machines intended for use in laundry businesses, small hotels, restaurants, dormitories, hospitals, recreation centres and health resorts. Visitors will be able to see the complete range of Vega washer-dryers, with a load weight of 10 to 35kg of laundry with automatic control, including 20 wash programmes and a high-speed spin cycle (the residual moisture of laundry after washing is 70%). In the Vega series of dryers with a load capacity of 10 to 30 kg, the new features include improved mass-dimensional characteristics, automatic control, ten freely programmable programmes, reverse function, and an attractive exterior equal to imported machines. The Vega series of ironing presses includes: VG-1018 and VG-1218, with a wide ironing band of 1000 and 1200mm, and output of 20 and 25 kg per hour. It should be noted that previously such ironing equipment was not produced in Russia. Winding with metal wool provides better ironing.

CleanExpo Central Asia is unique in its field, and, accordingly, is the main meeting place for consumers and suppliers of professional cleaning of commercial and industrial premises, and dry cleaning and laundry services. The exhibition presents new detergents, equipment and technologies, and provides an opportunity to share experiences and establish business contacts.
