OREANDA-NEWS. April 8, 2011. With a view to including the rural inhabitants in unbanked villages into the folds of banking, Shri Sushil Muhnot, Executive Director, IDBI Bank Ltd. launched the Financial Inclusion Programme in Mahindale and Pohore villages in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Muhnot said that "IDBI Bank is committed to extend all the banking facilities to the villagers under Financial Inclusion for economic progress of villages. The village populace should avail the opportunity by partnering with the Bank by becoming a customer".

IDBI Bank has set up a separate Department to implement the Financial Inclusion plan as envisaged by the RBI and GoI.
