OREANDA-NEWS. April 11, 2011. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is convinced that no longer have to apply limitation on grain exports. The Head of Ukrainian Government during his meeting with Deputy Finance Minister of the USA Christopher Smart.

Mykola Azarov stressed that the Government was forced to protect the domestic food market in connection with anomalous drought in Ukraine and the lack of grain in the world. This allowed keeping domestic prices of bread in times lower than in EU countries.

Prime Minister reported on the measures the authorities to ensure a stable, effective operation of the agricultural sector, particularly concerning the formation of state grain reserves. "We have good carry-over, we have a large state reserves - 1.6 million tons, and has already begun under the forward purchase of a new harvest, "- said the Prime Minister.

Mykola Azarov noted the successful holding in Ukraine fall and spring field work, and adequate fertilizing crops, expressing hope for good strikes in 2011. "If a good harvest is no restrictions will not be", - assured the Prime Minister.
