OREANDA-NEWS. April 12, 2011. Net profit of Belarusian OJSC Grodno Azot fell 2.3 times on the year in 2010, or 56%, to 16.897 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), according to the accounting balance sheet published by the producer.

Grodno Azot’s revenues reached 1.894 trillion rubles, down 33.3% on the year, profit fell 2.5 times to 45.278 billion rubles.

The company has approved dividend payout at 2.889 billion rubles, or 669.55 rubles per share, including taxes, up from 135.44 million rubles in 2009.

Non-current assets of the company were at 1.32 trillion rubles as of early 2010 and rose to 1.497 trillion rubles in late 2010. Current assets went up to 398.469 billion rubles from 366.233 billion rubles.

Grodno Azot was founded in 1963 and transformed into an open joint-stock company in 2002. The state controls 99.965% in the company. Grodno Azot is the main producer of liquid ammonia, nitrogen fertilizers, methanol, caprolactam, biodiesel fuel.
