OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2011. “Unibank” has fixed high interest rate for positive balance on pension cards – 5% per annum. Pension card of Unibank is a universal banking card ArCa Classic with privileged conditions of service stipulated specially for pensioners. Emission and service of the card is made free of charge, reported the press-centre of Unibank.

We would like to remind that in January 2011 “Unibank” concluded a contract with the Ministry of Labour and Social Issues. According to the contract pensioners can receive pension via banking cards of “Unibank”. Via the card one can withdraw cash at cash-desks and ATMs of the Bank as well as make payments at trade and service points. Pension card can be validated in any of the 34 branches of “Unibank”.

In 2010 the number of cards emitted by “Unibank” made 66.000 thus exceeding the index of the previous year by 66%. This year the Bank plans to increase the number of emitted cards up to 200.000, the number of POS machines – up to 900, ATMs – 100.
