OREANDA-NEWS. April 13, 2011. In spite of repair work, which is being carried out at Vrangel’s House of Culture, traditional music festival "Argo" will take place. According to organizers of this event, just a place for holding the festival will be changed, but conditions for participation will remain the same.

Regional music festival will be held from 12th to 15th May. It is traditionally dedicated to Nakhodka’s birthday and held under the support of local authorities.

This year, a place for holding the festival will be changed. The fact is that, Vrangel’s House of Culture, where music festival was usually held before, is being repaired at the expense of municipal budget now. That is why "Argo-2011" will take place at the recreation center "Sozvezdie lva" near Vrangel town.

According to the main organizer of "Argo" director of Vrangel’s House of Culture Sergey BALZIN, performers from Khabarovsk, Magadan, Tynda and other cities and regions of the Far East have already sent written applications for participation in music festival. We would remind you that there are no age, genre and geographical limits for participants. Instrumental and vocal ensembles, mixed groups and soloists are allowed to participate in creative contest. Winners will be defined in different nominations and age groups. All they will be awarded gifts. Grand prize of the festival is given by the Head of Nakhodka city district Oleg KOLYADIN.
