OREANDA-NEWS. April 14, 2011. The next interval of MF "Serebryaniy Bor - Precious Metals" managed by AMC of the Bank of Moscow is open from 14 through 27 April 2011.

As of 31 March 2011, the value of a share in the fund amounted to 1 538.71 rubles and the net asset value of the MF had increased to 451.6 million rubles.

Over the first quarter of this year, the yield of the MF "Serebryaniy Bor" amounted to 4.7% in US dollars, which is considerably more than the return on currency deposits in the biggest banks.

The increase in the share price (in rubles) as of 31 March 2011 amounted to:
— over 6 months: + 12.65%;
— over 1 year: + 37.78%;
— since the fund was set up: + 53.87%.

"In the process of the second stage of "quantitative easing", the monetary base in the USA might increase by another quarter, thus giving a new impetus to the process of devaluation of this leading country’s currency and of the rise in the value of precious metals. With the support of the growing inflationary expectation in the first half of 2011, the global dollar exchange rate has already dropped to its minimum level since the end of 2009", says Vladimir Vedeneyev, Director of the Asset Management Department of AMC of the Bank of Moscow. "As a consequence, we are observing a rise in the consensus forecast for precious metals a year in advance: currently it puts gold at 1590 US dollars, silver at 35.6 US dollars, platinum at 1950 US dollars and palladium at 930 US dollars an ounce, meaning that most precious metals are still considered to be undervalued".

The investment share price at which, at the end of the interval, settlements will be made on issue and redemption of MF "Serebryaniy Bor - Precious Metals" shares will be determined on the last day of the interval – 27 April 2011.

Fund shares may be bought, exchanged and sold through agency points conducting operations with AMC of the Bank of Moscow investment shares throughout Russia. Payment may also be made for shares (on the basis of a prior purchase application) through all Bank of Moscow ATMs. Payment is made in rubles. The minimum sum is 1000 rubles but no maximum is set.
