OREANDA-NEWS. April 15, 2011. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov noted progress in negotiations with the EU on an agreement on FTA between Ukraine and EU. The agreement will be signed by the end of this year. The Head of Ukrainian Government told this at a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Republic of Poland Donald Tusk.

“There is same progress in the negotiations. And we plan our work so that this year to complete this complex process of negotiation. Thus, that would be a compromise between the interests of Ukraine and the European Union", - Mykola Azarov said.

In turn, Donald Tusk said that Poland will support the European aspirations of Ukraine during its EU presidency. "If it comes to European integration, we believe that all of Ukraine's aspirations towards European Union are reasonable and you can always expect on our solidarity and support all measures that you make in this direction, " – he said, adding that Poland will do everything possible to ensure that agreement on an FTA between the EU and Ukraine signs under the presidency of Poland in the European Union.
