OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2011. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Derzhstat), industrial production grew by 12.8% MoM in March 2011, which is the highest since March 2010. Industrial production increased 8.0% YoY, which is lower that February's mark of +11.5% YoY.

The significant decrease in the production of coke and refined petroleum, by 12.4% YoY, reduced the indicator for aggregate industrial production. As usual, production of food, beverages, and tobacco decreased this month (-2.8% YoY). The increase in production of vehicles and equipment by 38.5% YoY, had the largest impact on the overall figures, with growth in machinery and in other non-metallic mineral production, by 22.8% YoY and 22.2% YoY respectively, also pushing up the final mark .
