OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2011. Belarus’ consumer prices went up 1.9% on the month in March, compared with 2.7% in February and 1.4% in January 2011, an official in the National Statistics Committee stated.

Prices increased 6.1% in January-March 2011.

Food prices rose 1.7% in March 2011 and 6.1% in January-March, non-food prices went up 3% and 3.6%, and consumer services prices increased 0.9% and 9.8%.

In 2010, inflation accelerated 9.9%. The forecast for 2011 stands at 7.5%-8.5%.
