OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2011. Yandex.Metrica rolled out WebVisor, a new analytics tool for tracking user behaviour on a website. This tool allows website owners see every action performed by visitors on their website as if they were looking at the computer screen through the eyes of the visitors.

Yandex purchased the WebVisor technology at the end of last year. WebVisor’s makers presented their creation at Yandex’s traditional open-door event for startups Yandex.Start.
WebVisor is a novel, one-of-a-kind technology with no parallel in Russia. It allows recording and then playing as a video the visitor’s actions on a website: mouse clicks and movements, page scrolling, copying and pasting. In addition to receiving website statistics reports, the users of Yandex.Metrica can now monitor visitor behavior on their website. This gives the website owners an opportunity to test the website’s usability, find flaws in its design or structure, and, ultimately, increase the click-through rate.

WebVisor, as a Yandex.Metrica function, is available free of charge, currently, only to the advertisers on Yandex.Direct or Yandex.Market with the monthly budget over 6,000 rubles, and also to everyone who received a personal invitation.
