OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2011. The company reports that now it will be possible to connect to Connect ’s high-speed Internet and ether-cable television services in Sumgait.

The company has also opened a service-centre in Sumgait where the city residents can sign a contract to connect to Connect’s network and pay for Internet and TV services rendered by the company.

Connect is a telecommunication company of Azerbaijan rendering ether-cable digital TV services, wideband access to Internet through asymmetric digital subscriber lines (ADSL) technology and commuting dial-in access to Internet through public domain telephone lines.

The company began its activity as an Internet provider in 2005. Since 2008 it has also been providing digital TV services and at present it operates in Baku and Absheron peninsula. Connect provides cable TV services not only in skyscrapers but also in private houses.
