OREANDA-NEWS. April 27, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC became the official partner of TEFI-Region 2010 TV Award, the final stage of which took place on April 19–22 in Taganrog. The contest organized by Russian TV Academy Fund gathered 546 works by 160 TV companies from 81 Russian locations.

TEFI Region is supported by the Federal Agency of Printed Media and Mass Commu-nications and has two thematic areas with final events for each of the areas. During sev-eral years of its existence the contest was held in various Russian cities: Yekaterinburg, Irkuts, Kazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Orengurg, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Stavropol, Surgut, Ufa, Khanty-Mansiysk, Chelyabinsk, Cheboksary, Yugorsk and Yaroslavl.

The final events in Information TV Broadcasting area took place in February in Uly-anovsk, and for Educational and Entertainment TV Broadcasting such events were held in March in Voronezh.

One of the key components of the final events is the accompanying educational pro-gram including trainings, seminars, master classes organized by the Russian TV Academy Fund for young representatives of the regional companies. Additionally, during the contest works reviewing the participants are given the unique opportunity to communicate with the jury panel that includes representatives of the Russian TV Academy.

Each stage of the contest is followed by the ceremony of finalist awarding with the TEFI Region honorary diplomas. Names of TEFI Region 2010 winners were announced on April 21 in Taganrog Chekov’s Drama Theater. The participants, together with TEFI Na-tional Contest winners were awarded the main TV prize, Orpheus bronze figurine.
