OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2011. ETF BOVA11 financial volume reached a new record of BRL112.79 million in trading session at BM&FBOVESPA. 1,701,540 BOVA11 shares were traded at an average price of BRL66.28 in a total of 1,720 transactions, reported the press-centre of ETF BOVA11.

The previous record of BRL109.82 million was set on March 17, 2011. PIBB11, MILA11, SMALL11, MOBI11, CSMO11 and FIND11 transactions reached the volume of BRL1.54 million, BRL1.01 million, BRL1.00 million, BRL2.18 million, BRL36,240 and BRL188,610, respectively.

Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), also known as trackers, are investment funds based on market indices, whose shares can be traded on Stock Exchanges, which allow investors to own the stocks that make up the fund’s portfolio without the need to buy the securities of various companies directly. Currently, eight (8) index funds are traded at BM&FBOVESPA: BOVA11, SMALL11, MILA11, BRAX11, CSMO11, MOBI11, PIBB11 and FIND11.
