OREANDA-NEWS. May 03, 2011. The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in Moscow (Moscow OFAS Russia) received materials from the Investigation Department of the Office of Internal Affairs for the Central Administrative District of Moscow about initiating a criminal case against “Dmitrovskie Ovoschi” Ltd., “GIGEYA” Trading House” Ltd., “Frutovit” Ltd. “Atlanstis” Ltd. and “TK Deetrade” Ltd. for violating Part 1 Article 178 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier Moscow OFAS Russia found that “Dmitrovskie Ovoschi” Ltd., “GIGEYA” Trading House” Ltd., “Frutovit” Ltd. “Atlanstis” Ltd. and “TK Deetrade” Ltd. violated Clause 2 Part 1 Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. There was no competition between the companies in course of an open auction for government contracts for supply of peeled potatoes and vegetables harvested in 2009. As a result the initial contract prices were reduced by a minimum value.

According to the law enforcement bodies, the amount of damage caused by concerted actions is 5,923,264 Rubles.

“The antimonopoly authority repeatedly pointed out that bid-rigging collusions harm national economy.
