OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2011. A conference, summing up the results of monitoring of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) - 2010 implementation took place at Crimea Titan site. Crimea Titan Management and Work Collective representatives took part in the conference.

Alexander I. Shitmanyuk, Chairman of the Board of Crimea Titan PJSC presented a brief report on the implementation of key provisions of the company CBA – 2010. So, the year 2010 has become record in company’s history concerning the production of the main product – namely, 105,7 thous. tons of titanium dioxide were produced, that is 22% more than in 2009. Also in 2010 there were produced 51 thous. tons of monoammonium phosphate (91,9 % more than in 2009), 541,5 thous. tons of sulphuric acid (22,7% more), 46,1 thous. tons of ferrous sulphate (industrial grade), 12,4 thous. tons of ferrous sulphate (dried grade), 3,1 thous. tons of iron oxide pigments, 2,1 thous. tons of aluminium sulphate. Taxes and dues paid amounted to 148 mln. UAH, that is almost 60 mln. UAH (67,5 %) more than in 2009. In his report Chairman of the Board of Crimea Titan PJSC emphasized that to make actions concerning ”Occupational safety and health protection” in terms of CBA in 2010 there were expended more than 12 mln. UAH. Alexander I. Shitmanyuk also added that on purpose to preserve favourable environmental situation at site and neighbouring territory in 2010 there was made a group of actions for environment protection amounting to about 160 mln. UAH. “Company management has fulfilled all obligations acc. all sections of Collective Bargaining Agreement”, summarized Alexander I. Shitmanyuk, the Chairman of the Board of Crimea Titan PJSC.

As a result of the conference there was made a solid decision to consider the work of Crimea Titan PJSC Management and Trade Union Committee satisfactory.
