OREANDA-NEWS. May 10, 2011. Moscow Arbitration Court supported the decision and determination of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and dismissed the claim of “Russol” Ltd., reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 22nd June 2010, FAS Russia found that the group of persons including “RusSol” Ltd”, “Bassol” OJSC, “Iletsksol” Ltd. and “Russol Trading” Ltd. violated Article 11 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. “Russol Trading” Ltd. concluded a “vertical” agreement with “Bassol” OJSC and “Iletsksol” Ltd., which is prohibited by the law and which resulted in fixing resale prices.

“This is a precedent case. The court confirmed conclusions of the FAS Russia’s Commission that fixing resale prices by economic entities – members of the same group of persons is a violation of the antimonopoly law”, said the Head of the Department for Control over Chemical Industry and Agro-Industrial Complex, Teimuraz Kharitonashvili.
