OREANDA-NEWS. May 10, 2011. To execute a determination issued by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) in follow-up of an antimonopoly case, on 29th April 2010 the Ministry of Health and Social Development recognised that No.655 Order “On Approving the List of Medications which are Dispensed on a Doctor’s (Physician Assistant’s) Prescription When Providing Free Additional Medical Care to Particular Categories of Citizens That Have the Right for State Social Support” of 18th September 2006, shall be considered to have lost force, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Instead the Ministry issued No.367n Order of 29th April 2011 and approved the List of Pharmaceutical Products, including the List of pharmaceutical products, prescribed by medical commissions of medical and preventive treatment facilities, that are provided in accordance with the health care standards on prescription of a doctor (a physician assistant) when rendering state social support in the form of a package of social services.

The new List does not indicate specific presentation of medications, which will enable state and municipal customers to procure pharmaceutical products in any presentations registered in the Russian Federation in accordance with the State Register of Pharmaceutical Products for Medical Purposes.
